Happy Day & Regency Collection
November 22, 2007 02:46 PM

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
There are so many things I am thankful for these days... I am happier than I have ever been.
I hope that everyone takes a few moments today to think about what is great in their lives.  It is so easy these days to take the good things for granted and dwell on the bad... and today is a reminder to cherish the good and be thankful!

Anyway, I did want to share a new collection I have created.  You can always see the new on the What's New page - but this new collection is one of my favorites and I am so excited about it I thought I would share here.

Inspire Co & Small Meadow Press Meet Up
November 19, 2007 12:18 PM

I got an email from Amy Powers late Saturday afternoon informing me that Lesley Austin of Small Meadow Press was staying with her this weekend and doing a local show and would I like to come over for dinner?  Lesley and I had tried to meet up once before and it did not happen, so I was thrilled to get another chance ... even if Amy lives about 1 1/2 hours away and it was already around 5pm!  So, I said yes and jumped in my car and headed out to her house.  I am SO glad I did.  Lesley is the most wonderful, gentle natured person I have ever meet.   And of course, if you know Amy, you know how great she is as well!

We went to Whole Foods for dinner at their Cheese bar (best grilled cheese and salad I have had in a while!) and then bought some tarlettes and tiny cupcakes to bring back to Amy's to have with tea.  We talked the night away and before I knew it, the clock said it was 11:30 and I had to head home.  I had a wonderful time - and look forward to meeting up with them again in the future.  I honestly felt like I have know the 2 of them for ages - I have known Amy for awhile, I see see her at local get together and stuff, but I was really happy to get a chance to know her better.  I can't wait for her to invite me over again (hint hint!).

This is us at the cheese bar

Joel was our chef and quite entertaining!

Amy's house was such a delight to behold!  She has this great old hand crafted doll house and little Jacky that lives there.

Hmmm... tea and tartlettes!

Just finished a home page for the most wonderful shop - Paris to the Moon (which I first heard about through Pam Garrison).

Anyway, next week I will be adding a page of photos so you can take a peek inside the shop!

Visit it here - it looks MUCH better in person than in a screenshot!

Oh, and Halloween was fun!  Here are some photos - Tuala was a big hit with all the kids in the neighborhood when she greeted them at the door!

and who says only kids get treats...

And... I am so lucky to live near the talented Little Melfie... look what I stumbled upon when I was at her house last night...

All her goods that she will be selling at silver bella!  And her house is decorated so wonderfully
(and some great Halloween touches - look at those silly glasses her son put on the monkey lamp!)
Click here to see all the photos I snapped while there.

Thursday I am off to Silver Bella - will blog all about it upon my return.
Vendor night will be the FIRST time Paper Relics will be selling in person (yikes!)
